"Adopt Your New Best Friend"
Since 1953, the Lawrence County Humane Society has been there to help prevent cruelty to animals. We have an Open Door Policy and will accept all stray, unwanted and/or abused animals. They are provided with a safe haven, food, shelter, vaccinations and plenty of LOVE. It is our goal to give our animals a loving, responsible home.
Our shelter facility has 42 permanent cages, most with outside runs. We receive an average of 100 animals per month. All animals receive an evaluation, vaccinated and wormed by our trained staff. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia.
You can see our adoptable animals by clicking on the link -Adoptable Pet Gallery in the section "I want to adopt" above.
